Some quick tips to avoid the rush and maybe even score a discount
It’s that time of year when the fun holidays are approaching: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more. With that comes holiday lights, and how amazing your home will look all decked out for the season (particularly if we get some pretty snow).
But, here’s the question everyone asks….
How early should I book my holiday lighting installation?
Short answer? Whenever is best for you.
Now, that being said, there are some considerations to keep in mind. We find that many of our customers install as early as September.
Here’s why:
More flexibility: Pick a date that works for you, not just what’s left over on the schedule. You can also choose if you’d like a time when you’re home or not.
A faster install: We will always pay attention to detail, but when the weather is nicer, it leads to a faster job.
Lights up, but not on: We can have everything ready, and you decide when to flip the switch.
Early-bird rates: We offer incentives for those who book in September - so everybody wins!
We all know how quickly the weather can turn here in Utah — one day it’s sunny, the next day we’re digging out from a snowstorm! So when the weather is still nice that means easier, faster installations for our customers.
We can’t speak for other installers, but at least with us, booking in September or early fall also helps you lock in the best rates. As the holidays get closer and demand goes up, those discounts go away. So, if you want to save money and avoid the mad rush, opt for an earlier install.
Can I wait until after Thanksgiving to install lights?
Of course! It might seem weird to install your lights closer to Labor Day than Christmas. But, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Other homeowners are thinking the same thing, leading to fewer available dates and times.
Not as many discounts available during the “peak” season (no pun intended).
Potential weather impacts, particularly if roads are not plowed.
We do recommend calling earlier, even if you don’t want to install until November or December. We will always make every effort to accommodate your needs and schedule. We also promise to make every effort and be transparent in that process. We want to get your lights up too!
What should I expect during the installation process?

Professional installation: Our experienced technicians arrive to efficiently and carefully install your lights.
Take down: After the holiday season, we’ll be back to remove the lights.
Storage: We keep your exact lights stored in our facility to maintain and get ready for next year.
Light maintenance: If the lights need servicing, we’ll fix them as soon as possible, whether they’re on your house or in our storage.
When you get commercial-grade lights with us, they belong to you, even if you decide to go with a different company next season.
